Emergency transportation due to heat stroke is increasing

In Japan, when the maximum temperature exceeds 25 ℃, it’s called a “summer day”, when it exceeds 30 ℃,
“Midsummer day”, and when it exceeds 35 ℃, it’s called a “hot summer day” . However, according to the
Meteorological Agency, on July 1st, it was a hot summer day at 36 out of 927 observation points.
“Heat stroke” continues and increases during this hot season
667 people nationwide were transported by ambulance due to heat stroke (According to the preliminary report
from the Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) during
the week from June 18 to 24.
Dizziness, yawning, profuse sweating, thirst, muscle pain, cramps, headache, vomiting, sagging of the whole
body,, loss of consciousness, cramping, high temperature… These are symptoms of heat stroke, and these
health problems that occur in a hot environment are categorized as heat stroke.

Points to prevention of heat stroke
To prevent heat stroke, “drinking water” and “avoiding heat” are fundamental.
· Hydrate regularly
· Use salt in moderation.
If you sweat a lot of salt, the body also loses salt, so take not only water but also salt.
· Stay aware of the temperature where you are
Children and elderly people with low ability to regulate body temperature need special attention.
Check frequently to see if body temperature is rising.
· Breathable, loose clothing
· Take a good nap.
If physical strength is lost due to lack of sleep, it can easily become heat stroke

Heat stroke can also occur in the home
Heat stroke can occur not only outdoors but also indoors.
Outdoors, heat stroke often develops quickly and the symptoms are easy to recognize.
Indoors, physical strength is steadily depleted, dehydration progresses, and symptoms progress little by little,

Summer days, midsummer days, in this season as the hot weather continues, not only when you go out, but
